I was on the phone to my new york desk giving them the morning run through, then i was told to clear all their prices as there was an incident in the other tower, they then left their desk. we turned on the TV and saw the smoke, and realised it was more than just 'an incident'. at this point some of my guys came back and said their building was secure so they had walked back at this point the line went dead and i turned to the tv to see the second tower hit, the guy i was speaking to and all that went back to their desks died, we just sat in silence for the next 2 hours not knowing what to say or do. - by .TC. - 11 September 2019 09:58AM

so, when they found new temp offices in new york they were on the 17th floor, understandably alot of people didnt want to work that high up ever again, she got up and gave a speech along the lines of "my husband died and im going back in to rebuild this business in his honour and i refuse to let these people beat me , yadda yadda yadda", the next day every person turned up at the new offices. - by .TC. - 11 September 2019 10:25AM
