Yep. It was the spurs way to have at least one superstar in the squad. In my time, from Hoddle, Gazza, Lineker, Ossie, VDV, Ginola, Madrid, Jane? Berbatov to name a few

This is the worst team/squad we have had in 20 maybe 30 years. Comparing man for man doesn't take into account Kane and a peak Son being worth 3 players each. I'm not interested in who is better out of Gollini/Kinsky.

Solanke is a cart horse. He’s basically Iversen if Iversen loved anime

Totally disagree unsurprisingly. The system doesn’t play to strengths like Bournemouth did, but now he’s actually fit again you can see he’s not awful in the slightest

Solanke is NOT a good player. The Viking is better than Lolo.

Spitting facts
- 09 May 2025 05:55PM
What are his strengths mate? Hes not quick not clinical not skillful. Not good in possession. He gets a fucking anime portrait done of himself every time he scuffs one in from 3 yards the fucking headcase.

But we use him to hold up the ball. I thought we didn’t play to his strengths?

- 09 May 2025 06:23PM
We put fuck all crosses in due to that silly inverted full back thing, that’s where he’d get more for us
- by Rob
- 09 May 2025 06:40PM
Every striker would get more if you gave him more chances. That’s a statistical inevitability. But if we’d won zero penalties this year he’d have less goals. None of these things are objective analysis of his strengths. He’s not a good finisher. His career shows that. One semi impressive season

this is true. he looks like a thunderbirds puppet and i can't see his eyes in any photos from last night but he is a decent player

He’s 28 at the start of next season and has had one good year in the top flight, in terms of goals. Like Marcus Stewart and Michael Ricketts before him. I’d like Rob to answer if Bournemouth “played to his strengths” the year before his good season, when he got six league goals.

He's definitely not worth 65 million quid even though I prefer him to Richarlison
- by Dougal
- 09 May 2025 05:45PM
Like preferring Fred to Rose, but sure you can have that one
- by Nenge Mboko
Would like us to sign a mentally stable striker at some point
- 09 May 2025 05:46PM
What is it about Fred that puts him above Rose in your view?
- by Dougal
- 09 May 2025 05:49PM
Rose is deffo the better bastard of the 2, Fred took the easy way out, rose got on with it and hooked up with Myra Hindely. Power couple p with

Killing himself and not being a burden on the taxpayer was his one redeeming act.

She was every bit as violent and depraved as Fred, but there’s an argument he wouldn’t have been anywhere near as “successful” without him, in terms of luring several of the victims

- 09 May 2025 05:55PM
So really Rose is the better one of you judge them on their stats because she's got the assists as well as the goals

I don’t think starting 11 is that bad. Unfortunately because of the cavalier play (I thought that pressing graph was yelling) we haven’t been able to keep them fit. He has blamed injuries for poor results but he has caused the injuries.

A whole new foward line and a manager whose team isn't cut open by 2 simple passes and it's not as bad. Our recruitment has been laughably bad.

Definitely not 30 years. The squad from 1999 till Jol was absolutely fucking rank

That's nearly 30 years. This squad is pure AIDS

It's not great, I'll give you that. I'm not sure we have a single world class player and we've pretty much always had at least one
- by Dougal
- 09 May 2025 04:35PM
In our darkest days we always had one or two that would get the juices occasionally flowing.

2000-2002 was grim really. In terms of squad. Campbell was the only class player during that time and look how that went
